IOC summit: pivotal time for AI adoption in sport and social impact

📍 Touch down in LAUSANNE!! The Olympism365 Sport for a Better World Summit kicks off tonight. It's set to be a pivotal moment for AI adoption in sport for social impact... 👀👇🏾

Firstly, we (READY) are a technical partner on the the Olympism365 Innovation Hub and we are launching our first flagship AI pilot project.

Then, tomorrow, IOC's AI lead Joshua Suh and I will co-facilitate the session on AI and Digitalization in Sport for Social Impact with amazing speakers and case studies showing AI in action for athletes and sports organizations, with professional athlete Eilish McColgan, IOC Mental Health lead Scott Sloan, founder of e-Museum of Sport Brazil, Bianca Gama Pena, and Women Win's Mia Weinland.

We're excited to share:

✨ Concrete examples and case studies of AI in action across the Olympic movement and beyond.

✨ Tips on how sport and S4D organizations can get AI ready.

✨ Commitments that will see the Olympism movement lead AI adoption with impact and inclusion.  Watch this space! 👀

We all believe that the potential of hashtag#AI to transform sport in ways that make it more inclusive and impactful for more people depends on who is using AI and how it is being used.

As AI technologies become more accessible, cheaper and widespread, the sport for development sector’s response must be: how do we make AI work for our sector and our objectives. 🌏
