My journey in football
I have worked in global football for 20 years. It’s a sport that has shaped my identity and where I’ve found my strongest sense of community, in the 30+ countries where I’ve played, lived, and worked in the game.
It all started in 2004 at the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana. In the years that followed, I held many roles in football, as a player, coach educator, project manager, and director. I designed and led professional and grassroots women's football and social impact programs at global brands, including FIFA and FC Barcelona.
Professional highlights include living in South Africa (2008-2014) and working on the 2010 FIFA Men’s World Cup and leading international relations and programs at FC Barcelona, sharing the Més Que Un Club philosophy around the world.
Throughout my career I’ve enjoyed teaching and lecturing on many aspects of sport, including the economics of professional football, football for good, and sport innovation. I taught Sport & Innovation at Emlyon Business School, Football and Social Responsibility at the University of Salford, and have delivered guest lectures at several universities in Europe and the US. I was awarded the 2023 Everything in Sport “Contribution to Education in Women’s Sport” Award for education initiatives on emerging technologies and women’s sport.
Ready Sport Global
I left Barça in 2022 (tough decision!) to start Ready Sport Global (or “READY”) — born from a desire to build something new for sport’s next era.
At the time, there were a lot of questions top of mind for sport decision-makers. Some of which have since been answered, others are still a work in progress for the industry.
How do we engage and monetize global fans?
How can blockchain technology support fan ownership and decision-making?
How can our innovation department lead club growth?
READY came as a response to these unanswered questions.
We went on to design and deliver educational experiences, strategic sprints, programs, and key note speeches that involved or touched thousands of sport industry professionals and organizations in more than 60 countries.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of sport, technology, and social impact, ensuring that innovation and our digital future remains grounded in the human experience of sport.

A bit more about me
Barcelona is home. In my household we speak a mix of Yorkshire English, Venezuelan Spanish, Catalan, and Spanglish.
Away from all things READY, I enjoy running the trails in Collserola national park, coffee talks with my biz partner Maggie, Indian food, and plotting adventurous holidays with my family and friends.
