Sport is about people, so is AI

Several people recently have asked about the "AI stuff" we'd been up to at READY, after saying in previous years "we're not ready for AI readiness".

I'm feeling and hearing a changing attitude towards AI.

Whether that's because of:

✅ More concrete use cases available.

✅ Realization that everyone is using it anyway with no controls.

✅ Teams drowning in commercial and operational pressures.

✅ Or plain FOMO.

I have always approached AI with critical optimism.

When we started our AI in Sport division, I knew that we were early.

But I also knew it was so important for us to have an open mindset, have a seat at the table, and bring our human-centered practice to it.

Sport is ultimately about PEOPLE. 🌏

And funnily enough, much of our AI work is too!

AI governance and ethics in sport has been the one of the most divisive and paralyzing topics we have dealt with at Ready Sport Global.

But also one that, for me personally and professionally, is intellectually and philosophically stimulating.

Because this work has SO MUCH complexity.

❓ What does responsible adoption look like in environments built on emotion, identity, performance, and community?

❓How do we support innovation while protecting people?

❓ How do we build confidence across teams who are already stretched?

We love unpacking all the questions!

If you're ready for AI readiness or committed to responsible AI adoption, let's talk.
